Diamond Clarity Guide
Diamond clarity refers to the presence of natural inclusions and blemishes formed during a diamond’s creation. These characteristics make every diamond unique. Understanding clarity helps you choose a diamond that offers the perfect balance of beauty, durability, and value

What Is Diamond Clarity?
Clarity measures how free a diamond is from internal inclusions and external blemishes. Most of these characteristics are microscopic and invisible to the naked eye, meaning they often have little impact on a diamond’s overall beauty. Diamond clarity is graded under 10x magnification by professional gemologists.

FL – Flawless
No inclusions or blemishes visible under 10x magnification. Extremely rare and valuable.

IF – Internally Flawless
No internal inclusions, with only minor surface blemishes visible under magnification

VVS1 & VVS2 – Very, Very Slightly Included
Inclusions are extremely difficult to detect, even for experienced gemologists.

VS1 & VS2 – Very Slightly Included
Minor inclusions that are difficult to see under magnification and typically invisible to the naked eye. A popular choice for quality and value.

SI1 & SI2 – Slightly Included
Noticeable inclusions under magnification, but often eye-clean depending on the diamond’s cut and shape.

I1, I2 & I3 – Included
Inclusions are visible to the naked eye and may affect brilliance and durability.
